Dear Gospel Mission Members, Friends and Family,

We pray this letter finds you safe and in good spirits. It is important that we update you on our decisions made concerning our beginning to regather as a church. Our church leadership team has closely monitored the effects of COVID-19 on our nation, state, and region. As we have encouraged everyone during our on-line services, we continue to pray for the complete eradication of the virus, the healing of those who are sick and for the comfort of those who have suffered loss due to this pandemic.

Since our church remains mission-oriented on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we have continued our worship services and bible classes by using the ZOOM online platform. As of Sunday, August 2, 2020 we would like to regather in our Sanctuary for our worship services. While we understand there are risks involved, we intend to remain vigilant and hold services based on the capacity protocol set-forth by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). In addition, we intend to continue to mitigate risks by maintaining and practicing social distancing, wearing face coverings, washing our hands frequently and having our sanctuary professional cleaned on a regular basis.

While we regather for Sunday worship services our bible classes will continue to be held via ZOOM.  Furthermore, we will continue to stream our Sunday services via ZOOM and Facebook Live for those of you who may be vulnerable and have compromised immune systems.

We understand that reopening our church for worship will not be an easy undertaking, but we will continue to be wise in our decision making and provide updates via e-mail and on our social media pages. Pray for us as we continue to pray for you. Thank you so much for your patience and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Richard W. Curtis, Sr., Bishop
